Since I bought my bike early last year I have been slowing converting some of the silver accents on the black bike.  I have posted a few of the things that have been changed, but figured I'd put them all into one thread...and its 5 degrees outside with 18 inches of snow and I am bored :125: :002:

So far...the following items have been powder  coated; wheels, handlebars, bar end weights, gas cap, kick stand, foot brake lever, foot gear shift lever, driver and passenger footpegs and many of the visible screws securing the body panels.

I had a painter hit the air scoops and rack for the topbox with a flat black.  The black rack sitting on top of TIMO's bike shows the difference in stock to the black.  I was trying to tone down the silver, but not match it to the body panels so there is still some visual black differences.

Hand levers were swapped out with black ones.

I am probably going to order a RDL black seat.  I will have the stainless exhaust pipe hit with a semi gloss black cerakote.  At that point I just need to figure out the easiest way to do the cluster bezels.

    NIcely done.

Talking of black, My right book has worn the paint off the black engine cover, anyone know what shade of black I need.  My local dealership does not supply touch up paint for the black?

Time...sometimes.  Money....you'd be surprised what a guy could do with a cheap harbor freight powder gun and an old electric oven that was picked up for $0!! :001:

Very nice and tasteful!  I am not a fan of the more outrageous or gaudy cosmetic mods.  When I had my Goldwing I left it visibly 99% stock.  I did not want to spend the time required to keep bling shiny, and it looks crappy uncared for.
    Good job!
