    Possible new bike

Hi all, I've been wanting to buy a TTSE for a little while, well, finally I'm going to take a look at a Pacific Blue one on Saturday, it's on a 62 plate with 15k on the clock, It has just about everything fittted, but no mention of heated seats, would it have them fitted as standard, or is it an optional extra.
I rode a friends last year with my better half on the back, she rides pillion, and loved it, I was quite impressed with the bike, after i had got over the physical size of it.

So here's to Saturday, I'll keep you posted.  :038:

Just as a foot note, I currently ride a 2011 Honda CBF 1000, nice bike, but we want to tour France this year, so a bit more comfort needed, although the bikes not that bad.

On a 62 plate it might be one of the Launch specials which I think did have every option included heated seats.

If not a launch model then would not have had heated seats or grips as standard

    Good luck with the purchase!

Good luck with your test ride. We look forward to hearing about your decision.
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

welcome to the owners club and congratulations by anticipation  :821: No doubt a test ride will convince you this is the right choice, and as far as comfort is concerned you could not possibly find any better :047:

    Hi Wilko,

I already welcomed you to the Forum,
and on Saturday I expect we will be welcoming you as an Owner !  :028:

Out of interest, which Dealer did you find it at, after the demise of Stratstone ?
( If it's the one at CMC which has very similar backgrounds in their Photo's,
enquire about why there was a change of Top Box from the Givi one in their on-line adverts
to the "proper" { and better } Triumph one in your Photo ! ? )

One "extra" thing for you to consider is that the 2012/13 Trophy's didn't come with the
"Rear Mudguard Extension ( Spray Guard )" - Part Number T2304609,
which were included as part of the bike from 2014 onwards.

These are a worthwhile purchase as they keep a lot of the crud
from being thrown up onto the undersides of the Panniers and Top Box  :169:

If you can't talk the Seller into including this, and you have to buy the part yourself
from a Triumph Dealer ( £33.90 ), you may have to explain to them to search in the OEM section
of their inventory, as it is no longer an "accessory" but an "OEM Part" !

Or get one on-line here : World of Triumph

At 15,000 miles it will be due the "Major" 20,000 miles soonish,
so factor the cost of that in too  :169:
    Cheers  :821:
