    Late introduction of new member.

Apologies for not introducing myself earlier. Graham "HACKLE" Harris is my name. I reside in Bairnsdale, [East Gippsland] Victoria, Australia. Purchased my new 1200se late 2016. A Xmas present to myself. Traded in an Anniversary model 2016 Yamaha Super Tenere as well as a 2006 BMW R1200RT. Couldn't be happier with the Trophy. Wife and I went for a short, 4 day ride between Xmas/New Year. Wife gave the "black beauty" the big two thumbs up. I normally get my seats changed by MJM Motorcycle Seats in Goulburn, New South Wales, wifes informed me not to change her seat, it was fine. I'm a member of the FarRiders and also an Iron Butt member. Loking forward to putting many memorable kilometres on this fine handling machine. I was a very good friend of a past member of this forum, Saaz, who unfortunately succumbed to his life threatening disease last year whilst completing a "lap" of Australia after the Border Run in August. He is sadly missed by all who new him. I also offer all membership a virtual "glass of cheer" on his behalf. On another matter I have been reliably informed [you already now this], [I previously worked for the Australian Distributor, Triumph Australia], that the Trophy and the Sprint are to be discontinued. A new touring bike will be their replacement. Anyway that's enough from me.
HACKLE     I'm too young to be this old.

G'day Hackle, congratulations and welcome to the forum. You've certainly got the right bike to eat distance two up in comfort and performance.

John Saaz is dearly missed from this forum.

If your travelling up to QLD drop me a line.

Can't wait to see what Triumph releases as a new tourer.

PS: my pillion in a million is quite happy with her standard seat. I replaced mine with a TTSE comfort seat and I use an air hawk cushion on long trips.

    Hi Hackle and welcome :400:

Yes the likely cancellation of the Trophy has been much discussed, although this is the first anyone has mentioned " A new touring bike will be there replacement" That would be great news if true and they built from the starting point of the Trophy
Triumph Trophy! Not for every Tomaz, Dieter or Herman!🇬🇧

I only knew John as a fellow Member of, and valued contributor to this Forum.

I was unaware of his Passing until I saw your post.  How sad.
