Hello everyone on the Forum, its great to be able to get useful info from fellow Trophy owners, i might need it, I have had a 2013 Trophy SE  Blue 28000km , for a year now trading in a 2007 Honda St1100 which had 150000 km, a great bike. I already own a 2009 Triumph America so i was looking for a great looking sport/tourer, 1200SE fit the bill. Its a great bike if only its wasnt plagued with those annoying faults  that came with the 2013 model.  With all the info available on this forum i have started to understand what it all means and am better prepared to go in batting when i take it too the Triumph Dealer to have them sorted, i too have the TPMS low battery fault front and back displayed on occasions but will cross this path upon my next tyre change. My latest fault is the ecm light coming on and a fault code of P1619(Headlamp relay short circuit to ground or open circuit )showing, has anyone got any tips for a quick fix  before i take the bike to the dealer, I also found out that my radio consul under the seat  has an ID of SW 1.02A, BSW 0.011A , is this the one that needs a soft ware update to stop it draining the battery when the bike is turned off, Thanks again for all the great info , hopefully someone can give me some further tips on these annoying faults,,,Triumph Rules , Billboy 56

Hi billyboy and :400: to the Club !

Rather than go into a lengthy message here in the "New Members" section,
which is usually reserved for welcoming new Members,
I have created a new Topic in the "Lighting, Electrical & Wiring"
CLICK HERE : DTC (Fault) code P1619 ( Headlamp relay short circuit .... ),
where you will find answers to your questions !

    Cheers  :821:

Welcome. Nice bike combo. You'll find info on the site that can help you. I had the battery drain issues and the software fixed from my dealer solved that problem. I occasionally get the TPMS low battery message, but only when it's cold. I change the trip mode and the message goes away and I just ignore it.

    All the best with.
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

:400: to the forum.  Shouldn't take you long to get any issues you have sorted and then you can really have some fun!  There really aren't a ton of issues and not all bikes even have all of them, so don't let it worry you too much.  My 2013 only had three issues (fork seals, TPMS low batteries, and radio software -which you shouldn't have down under) and all were easily resolved at no charge under warranty.

welcome aboard  :821: I too came from the ST 1100 (a great bike) and I've found the Trophy to be even better, so did my better half :062:
You wrote "trading in a 2007 Honda St1100"  I thought the ST1100 had been succeeded by the ST 1300 as from 2002 ??

     :400: billyboy56 and  :821:

Coming from a Honda you will notice all the glitches that the high Tech TTSE has.  The Honda ST1100 and ST1300 are bullet proof but boring.  I had a 2013 TTSE and recently got a new 2016 version.  My 2016 TTSE needed a new digital readout which was pixelating from day 1 and the dealer replaced the whole unit at her first service, but since then she has completed 16,000 trouble free miles.  I see my TTSE as a super model requiring 'high maintenance' rather than a Nora Batty 'low maintenance' but would you?

G'day billyboy56, Welcome to the forum. There's a wealth of knowledge experience here.

I've a 2013 TTSE that has, touch wood, remained trouble free. The TPMS front and back have been showing low battery since mid 2014. They still work;well they did yesterday on a 600km ride.

Not too sure about the headlight error but you're in the right group to get it sorted.

:062: :152:WOW, Thanks Guys, have only just got on the Forum as a new member and have already received helpful advice from many owners around the world. The best one being stay focused and stay true to being a Trophy owner !!! A special thanks to *Coconut* for steering me in the right direction on fixing the faults on the bike ,your dedication in helping us out is outstanding. Also to *Verdun 95* for pointing out my typo error, my last bike was actually a 1997 ST1100 not a 2007, Good pick up.. Now to attack my bike, I shall let you know how I fare. What a great bunch of people on the Trophy Forum  :821: As us Aussies would say *Good on ya mate*  Regards billyboy56
