What size is that bolt hole

Hello, I am curious. There is a threaded hole on each handle bar next to the fluid reservoirs. I want to install Ram Mount 1" balls in each one but I do not know which ball to order.  Ram has 3/8-16 mounts, some mounts with M10 thru bolts.

    Please advise.

I posted about this a year or so ago. Check out post #7 it has all the info with the link for the correct size. https://www.triumph-trophy.com/index.php/topic,5095.msg67556.html#msg67556
    And here's a link for the M10 threaded 1" ram ball http://www.expressmounts.com/ram-mount-m10-x-1.25-pitch-male-thread-on-1-inch-ball.html

Those bolt holes in the Clutch and Front Brake fluid reservoirs
    ( designed to accept Mirrors ) are M10 x 1.25,
and are both right hand thread, unlike some other bikes
that have one right and one left handed hread  :028:

    Cheers  :821:

I installed the RAM M10x1.25 with 1" ball on the left hand side mirror mount with a Double Socket Swivel Arm and Universal X-Grip - works for me.

Why a mount left or right if there is a mount available right in front of you, where it ought to be?
By the way: I doubt if the thread in the mirrorholes will be metric?

The holes are most definitely metric.
