Rear Fender
« on: June 13, 2013, 08:58:52 PM »
Hi everyone, I'd like to call upon our German members' assistance. I'm concerned with the rear splashing under wet conditions (picture attached). My dealer suggests to try and get one of those mounted on the TT sold in Germany, supposedly longer than ours. Would any of the German members of this forum be kind enough to post a picture of the same? Secondly would it happen that any of you knows the spare part number for it? Thanks a lot for your assistance

Hi Verdun95,

the Trophy has on every market the same fender. Mine ends 62 cm above ground when standing on the main stand.
I've monted the number plate as low as possible....

Cheers,

I finally got a rear fender extension at my dealer's. Tough luck: no rain since it has been installed, or to be more accurate no ride under the rain since then.
Still  a picture is attached:

Looks like it should work fairly well, though I suspect it completely ruins the look of the bike when the luggage is removed?

Maybe with a quick release... :084:

May I bother you for a couple more photos from different angles? Only found that part number on a German site without images.

Still waiting for the hugger I ordered a month ago, that should at least reduce the amount of muck that ends up in the suspension...
