Sorry
« on: June 14, 2013, 05:06:19 PM »
Guys

I sincerely apologise to anyone offended by by my use of language in certain posts. Being a Yorkshire man through and through a spade is a spade and I never hold back. But I never post with the intent of upsetting anyone  :087:
I'll learn to curb my language and I hope you all except my apologies.

No offence taken... I prefer someone who speaks their mind. Its easy to slip up though. I had to go back and edit one of my posts because I used a colloquialism for brown smelly stuff in it and then read the rules!

Other sites I use have a dictionary of more 'common' phrases and automatically substitute a more obscured version
Triumph Trophy! Not for every Tomaz, Dieter or Herman!🇬🇧

did'nt offend me mate, but rules is rules and well done you for manning-up.
On a lighter note, I'm reminded of a some words a 'Yorkie' mate taught me too many years ago.
Hear all, see all, say nowt
Eat all, drink all, pay nowt
And if you ever do owt for nowt
Make sure it's fo' the sen.
Not relevant, but fun.

Hear all, see all, say nothing
Eat all, drink all, pay nothing
And if you ever do anything for nothing
Make sure it's for yourself

In Yorkshire we are known for being very careful with our money!
