Hi
After reading about Tom Tom Rider and Trophy 1200 SE I ordered a Tom Tom Rider 400. When unpacking the GPS I learned that the included general Tom Tom Mount can't possible fit the Trophy 1200 SE Mount I have on my bike... Is there a spesial Tom Tom Rider mount for the Trophy 1200 SE? (I have a 30 days open by, and will return the Tom Tom if this is a hoples project
)

Not a hopeless project. The Triumph mount is designed for the Garmin 660, but also fits the 590/595. Others have got the Garmin 390 to fit by drilling extra holes and dremelling out the standard mount holes to fit the different hole layout. Maybe possible to do something similar for the Tom Tom cradle bolts???

Hi Odd Bjørn Meling,
I haven't a clue if this wil work or not, but taking a quick look on-line
at the TomTom Rider 400, it comes with a Mounting Kit that includes
a "RAM" ball on a circular mounting plate. ( See image below ).
There are bolt holes in the circular mounting plate,
which
might
match up with the holes on the Triumph Garmin bracket,
or if not maybe new holes could be drilled ?
Cheers

Guys,
just to clarify about fitting a Rider 400 on Trophy with Triumph bracket : there is no issue at all, see pictures below !
Cheers, Hugues

I concur as I had no problem fitting my TT 400 Satnav onto the TTSE mount and wiring into the power. Blue Tooth to my Sena headset as is the bike audio - sweet as.

I fitted my TomTom mount directly to the Trophy satnav mount as in the pictures above - no need for RAM mount.
I also modified my TomTom to provide an audio output which I could plug into the bike - though I don't recommend you try that unless you are good at electrical wiring and mods:

Hi,
You guys where totaly right!! No problem at all
!!
The Tom Tom 400 fits 100% and is "larger, better and brighter" then the old Interphone GPS delivered with the bike when it was new...
But what you do learn is to dismantle the front fearing, and that is a challange
. Thank you all

G'day OBM,
Glad to help in a small way. Removing the TTSE panel work is a journey of discovery for the first time. After that is making sure there's no extra leftover parts
