    Hello From Melbourne Australia

    Hi all.
    Just want to introduce myself.
My name is Alex and I am obviously from Melbourne.
Just picked up my brand new Trophy SE last weekend and clocked 246 Kms already.
A big change for me from a V-Max to a Trophy... well getting old and needed something more comfy and less on fuel   :001:
I already have a few questions and to start with I would greatly appreciate if someone could point me to any existing posts regarding connecting a trickle charger to the bike.
This will reduce the duplication of post on my part.
    Thank you all in advance
    Alex

Hi Matrix and :400: to the Club !

The power socket by your left knee is permanently live so that is very
convenient to connect a charger such as an Optimate or Battery Tender.

Alternatively, some Members connect a short lead directly to the Battery,
and just tuck it away under the edge of the fairing when not in use.

Plenty of information within the Forum on this
( The "SEARCH" button is a useful tool ),
try this one : Battery Tender Lead

    Cheers  :821:

Hi Alex and welcome :400: Great bike and great forum.

The search function is well setup in this site.If you look to the top left corner under the TROPHY lettering you will see a search button next to the forum threads button. Hit that and then use key words like charger or trickle and see what comes up.

If you STILL don't find what you need then start a thread with a specific question you have and one or more will have the answer for you! :001:

    Hi
    Thanks for the info.
Was not too sure as the manual does not give any info regarding trickle charge.
My old bike was connected directly to the battery.
Was not too sure if the live socket was the one or not.. Didn't want to blow anything up 😳
Thanks also for the tip for the search box... Will give it a go next time.

    Al
