plastic rivet's fairing

found these rivet's at lowe's.2 pcs fo $1.02, for the bottom of the fairing.hillman 1/4"plastic rivet screw in type

Can you post a picture of the rivet itself?  Are they surrounded by rubber?

i had to drill the old ones out.there's a little bit of tension on the fairings pieces,so they got deformed

Yeah that's what gave me trouble when I removed the fairing.  I was finally able to get them out without destroying them.  If I had known they were readily available I wouldn't have wasted the time taking such care.  :157:
