    Hi all,  :821:
No, I'm not not a trojan horse, a Triumph explorer owner who's been eyeing a Trophy for a little while now.......maybe this year I'll make the change.

:400: to the forum.  Once you get on a Trophy you'll wonder why you waited so long. :821:

Indeed, was a Pan European (both 1100 and 13) user but thought I'd like something a little lighter so the Explorer was bought.  Love the bike to bits but Her Ladyship misses the comfort.  And I get that, so after taking a few bikes out on spare afternoon go-for-it test rides (BMW RT - too cramped, ST1300 - felt like home but I'm buying British now) it was a Trophy that took our fancy.  We'll wait and see.  By the way, is the forum aware of David, AKA Muddy Sump for servicing?  Uses genuine Triumph parts, is Triumph recognised so won't upset your warranty and way undercuts Triumph dealership prices.  A nice guy to boot.

Hi Merlot and :400: to the Forum !

You already know about Triumph, but have you talen a Test Ride on the Trophy yet ?

If not then go for it - what have you got to lose ?
( Just a few pounds putting the Deposit down as soon as the Test Ride is over ! )

    Cheers  :821:

Hi Coconut and thanks for the welcome.
Yes, we took a Trophy for a nice extended spin last summer.  The SE model with all the bells and whistles, I said yes, she said no.  :110:

    Maybe this year....

    Hi Merlot,

a warm welcome to the forum.

I can give you only one advice:
Don't test ride a Triumph Trophy and you will save your bank account.   :008:
