I think they want you to put 1000 miles on it befor any adjustments.  By then you will be comfortable on it.

I won't be sending in the seat anytime soon.  Just my first impression of the seat.  The seat feels very comfortable just very awkward feeling when stopping and trying to move the bike backward/ forward, hopefully I get used to it.

Does any one know if the backrest can be removed when having a passenger?  Or is it permanently affixed?  Or could you remove the RDL seat and replace the pillion with stock pillion to get rid of the back rest in case your passenger does not like the backrest?

I ended up buying "Cropbiker's" RDL Seat,
which he had purchased from someone in the U.S.



The Rider's Back Rest is easily removable -
the flat bar at the base of the Back rest just slots in and out.



If anything it is too easy to remove, and could be vulnerable if left unattended !
