REDUCED - Trophy Shortened Stand for sale 50
    on: Mar 20, 2017, 05.50 pm

I bought this to see if it would make it easier to get my non-lowered Trophy onto the centre stand while still lifting the rear wheel off the ground, but I didn't get around to trying this before I sold the bike.      50 inc UK postage

Please note that although the stand appears to have been competently modified, having not used it myself I cannot give any guarantees with respect to the modification.

If you are thinking of lowering your Trophy I also have some suitable Lust lowering links for sale in a separate for sale post.

That is a good question!  Unfortunately I don't have the bike anymore so can't compare and it is difficult to decide which dimension to give you so that you will be able to measure in the same place on the one installed on your bike - but I will have a go:

if you look at the left side of the stand, there is a corner brace between the vertical tube which has been shortened and the foot lever that extends out and is used to operate the stand - you can see this on the first picture.  If you measure from the top of that brace at the point where it joins the vertical tube to the top of the tube at the back (because it slopes up towards the front), then the shortened one measures 180 mm.

    I hope that helps.

    Fred

PS:  here is a picture marked up with that dimension:

Please note that the price includes an allowance of 5 for postage within the UK.  Because of the weight I am not sure that it would be cost effective to post to other countries, but in any case I would have to charge for any postage in excess of 5.

Thank you, I will get down on the floor tonight and measure it and then figure out how to convert to Metric :087:

    25.4 mm = 1"

    so 180 mm = 7.08"

There you go - done it for you!

It looks as if it was shortened below the cross brace not above.

The only welds I can see are on the two vertical sections above the cross brace, one of which I marked up on the last photo, so I am assuming that is where it was shortened.  If you click on the picture to get a larger version, you should be able to see them.
