Interesting Vibes??
« on: June 16, 2013, 10:07:37 PM »
Managed to get a ride out today without the passenger giving me a hard time for going 3 inch per hour over the speed limit  :087: :087: I crank it up to 100 - 110 mph for a period of time and found that the resonance through the bars gave me server pins and needle in the hands. This was to a degree that a serious loss of feeling.
Anyone else had this or get this  :087: :087:

Yeah I should have added on a serious note that I've had the bike to 115 and experienced no vibration

Now the bike has been run in I do find a vibration through the bars and foot pegs but they are not too distracting.

110 (on a private road, honest guv') and nothing too uncomfy. Defo no pins and needles.

I've been up there as well, the bike is steady as a rock, in fact it seems to hunker down in the wind, no doubt another Hinckley triumph (in design).

My nerves start vibrating, though. :005:

I had mine up to 110 the other day.... bad boy that I am.  Stable and no noticeable vibes.  This bike is not nearly as vibey as the Tiger 800 I had before.

Try some grip buddies.  Soft foam pads on the grips.  That should help.
