Well, that's me just about done with my TTSE.

22,000 miles in 15 months of ownership, she has been an absolute joy of a luxury commuter. Easily the most accomplished and brilliantly engineered motorcycle I have ever owned. I simply cannot fault it.

But my work situation is changing, meaning that my motorcycle use will go from Daily to Rarely, and I just do not need a TTSE in my garage. It's time to let her go, while I look for a FUN bike to use on sunny Sundays.

Classic bike? Small trailie? Naked muscle bike? I feel like a kid in a sweet shop trying to decide. Help me out by telling me bikes you'd consider!

    Bye. :159:

Hope you find something that suits your current needs; Triumph Street Triple?  Looks a real hooligan bike!

    Love, light and kindness,

You got to give us more clues on what you would use the bike for etc. :002:
I'm guessing that the bike not having shaft drive won't be an issue for you?

I'd use it only for fun. No commuting, no long haul trips - local fun on sunny days only.

Not bothered about chain/shaft - the mileage won't be high so the appeal of shaft isn't so important - although I did see a local bike shop with a lovely looking Moto Guzzi V7 Racer on it's website, and that's a shaftie.

I wouldn't mind a Thruxton again, though I would need to hand cash over as well as the TTSE if I wanted one of the new ones.

The Thruxton would look good just sitting in the garage while it waited for some exercise. :008:
Seriously, hate to hear you're letting the Trophy go, but that doesn't mean you can't check in once in a while just to see how this side of the world is.
Enjoy, and Ride Safe on whatever you choose.

I've been drooling over the new Bonnie T120 Black.  The 1200 liquid cooled twin with a brown seat almost made me trade in the Trophy!  The only draw back for me is chain...it's not a deal killer but i want to avoid them if i can!

I am lucky enough to have a Thruxton R and the Trophy... the R is a lovely bike, looks old but oh so modern in everything it does! However the tamed animal is the new Street RS... oh yes  :001: :001: :001: That howl at 12k is just addictive. All depends what you want ..
