Hey Basha, I'm thinking of making the same trade. What made you decide to do it?

Hi Guys, me too.
I've had my Thunderbird for 2 years and feel the Trophy would be a better bike for 2 up, luggage space and touring comfort.
The big one for me though is I feel like I'm missing part of the riding experience due to the cruiser style. That is all the weight on the back and less clearance for twisty sections. Having ridden a K1200s, Tiger 1050 and Explorer in the last few months I really want to try the Trophy, I think it would be perfect for me. The Explorer was very nice to ride, a pretty impressive bike in all departments.
Sounds like you guys are thinking the same.
Having said that I have loved having the Thunderbird, its been loads of fun as has the Thunderbird forum.
