Gavin.  :400: Firstly thanks for the brew. Secondly, oh to be 50 again. I'm sure that if you take your time and "warm" up to the Trophy you'll find it the most pleasurable of partner. I picked mine up in December 2016, and have just clicked over 12,500 kms. Last ride was Saturday last. Left Berwick [30k east of Melbourne Victoria] at 2.30am. and headed over to Mount Barker Hotel [ Adelaide, South Australian hills village] for a FarRide luncheon. Then returned home. Arriving 10.45pm. on the same day. 1465kms. for the days ride. As i said, warm up to it, and you might find yourself out for a longer ride than you imagined.

:400: to the forum.  I've actually been to Skipton, probably a little odd for someone on this side of the pond.  My niece was stationed at Menwith Hill and we visited for a week and she drove us all over the rural area for visits to her favorite pubs.  The next time we were there we drove ourselves (my wife did) around and then down south to Hereford to visit my wifes relatives.  Love it.  Would be back again if I was young enough to tolerate a coach class seat over and back. :821:

Hi Haltonwest and :400: to the Club !

Very sensible to take the Refresher course  :169:

Until you get used to it, be wary of low speed riding and maneuvering,
check for solid ground to put your feet down on when you stop,
and be careful when pushing it around and lifting on and off the centre stand.

It's a HEAVY bike at low speeds and can catch you out - resulting in a drop  :138:

Once you're used to that, and when you're moving along - it's a dream to ride  :028:

    Cheers  :821:
