just music, no phone, sat nav, intercom?

What's the best way to connect a pair of helmet earphones to my TTSE so I can listen to music? I don't want to talk to anyone, use a phone etc.

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers

    John

Not to be an ass or anything but I would suggest that the easiest and least troublesome method would be to just put your music player/ipod in your jacket pocket and be done with it. Alternatively you could use some sort of mount to hold your music player/ipod and thus have direct access to it while on the bike. I just put my iPod on random play, put it in my jacket pocket and bluetooth it directly to my bluetooth helmet and it works a charm and I have music when I get off the bike as well and don't even have to remember to unplug from the bike when I get off! Just some food for thought. Cheers.

I plug my iPod into the glove box USB, my Bluetooth headphones are paired with my bike (and before I installed my gps with my phone).

    Thanks guys,

I'm  a complete luddite in these matters. It seems I need to add Bluetooth to my helmet. What's a cheap but effective way of doing this?

    Cheers

    Hi John,

I bought a Sena SMH5 set. It was easy to install.
Just check if your helmet is prepared for installing a bluetooth headset.

    Hi John,

What helmet are you using ?

There is no Audio Out jack plug on the Trophy, to plug in a set of wired earphones,
so there isn't really a "Cheap" option !

To listen to the Radio, or anything such as an iPod connected to the Glove Box USB Port,
via anything other than the main Trophy Speakers, you will need a Bluetooth connection
from the Trophy to a device fitted into your Helmet, ( or possiby to a seperate Unit
that you can then plug Wired ear plugs into, but I have no experience of those ).

Check out your helmet manufacturer's Web site, to see what Bluetooth options they have.

There are often dedicated Bluetooth Units for specific helmets,
where the helmet is already adapted to accept them,
or there are "Universal" Units that may fit,
depending on the helmet you are using.

    Cheers  :821:

I have an older U Clear that paired just fine with My TTSE's radio.  they have a wired to your music player/phone setup as well. https://ucleardigital.com/product-category/helmet-communications/bluetooth/motorcycle/

Look for an inexpensive chino interchange with bluetooth v2.1 and edr, it will be the only way that you do not have interruptions of the music, pull my midlan for 400 € and I go with an unmarked Chinese of 30 € and not a problem of music cuts.
