Calling all parts people - T3010055

So...I bought my TTSE used last year, and last week discovered some missing bolts.  Here's the story:

Last week I ordered and received a Givi top case, and when I went to begin the installation process I discovered that 4 of the 7 bolts (along with the required flanged sleeves) that secure the luggage rack to the back of the bike are missing.  The 3 bolts under the seat are there, but the 4 top-most bolts/sleeves (under the black cover) are not.  The previous owner must have removed them and for some mysterious reason chose not to put them back.  Armed with this information, I now know why the ass end of my bike has been particularly noisy when going over bumps...

Anyway, I started rooting around online, found the parts and attempted to order them.  Yeah, no.  Turns out nobody has the flanged sleeve (Triumph part # T3010055 ) anymore because Triumph no longer makes the part and considers it "obsolete."  WTF?

I called Triumph USA directly and the gentleman I spoke with confirmed that the part is indeed obsolete, but indicated that Triumph UK has 86 of them in stock and any Triumph dealer can order them.  Perfect.  I called my local Triumph shop and ordered 4 bolts and 4 sleeves.  A few days later CalMoto called back and said they can't get the sleeve because it's obsolete and not available.  WTF?  I told him that Triumph themselves told me there are 86 of them in England, and recommended they poke with a bigger stick if necessary.  I also called Triumph back to confirm, and the same guy told me that yes, they do have 86 of them in stock, though there was some kind of flag on the part and would have to get back to me.  Dammit.

So, if at the end of all this I find that I simply cannot get the sleeves I need, I'm asking this community if A) anyone knows of a source for this part, or B) if you know of any alternative solutions for the sleeve.  I have to put these bolts back in place, otherwise the Givi top case will be mounted to a rack that's not properly bolted down, and that's not gonna happen.

    Thanks for reading.

I may be able to help. If it is the ones I am thinking of, they are just a sleeeve with a flange (or "top hat sleeve" as they can be known by). Eithher go to a local engineering company or college and ask them to make some from stainless steel. Alternatively, send me a drawing to save me dismantling my bike and I will make you some.  Will only cost you the postage to the States.

    Hello,

Sorry, but I can't find an English expression for this German word: bundbuchse  :431:

What it is: Just have a look here: https://www.maedler.de/product/1643/1629/51/bundbohrbuchsen-aehnlich-zurueckgezogener-din-172-a   :016:

Could you go to that page and have a look, if there is a piece that belongs to the part T3010055? Not the cheapest things, the prices are behind the € .. I can offer to order the parts from the page and send them to you, because i don't think that they make a delivery to the states  :017:

Or this may help: Just a look with these item "flange bushing":  https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1/136-7228191-2650854?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=flange+bushing

OK, My local Triumph Dealer doesn't have any in stock,
but his system shows there are "plenty" at the factory
and are available for him to order in,
so I have ordered four at a total cost of GBP £8.84.

I am told they will be available on Thursday, so if they turn up I'll go and get them,
and can then ship them on to you as previously discussed by PM  :028:

    Cheers  :821:

Awesome, thank you!  If you can confirm that they're actually going to be sent to your dealer, I'll just cancel the order from my dealer (who isn't sure they can get them at all) and buy them from you.
