So..... had our first ride out last night,

The better half approved of the bike and enjoyed the ride!! so a big thumbs up for Triumph


Now planning a wee tour for us

Good to hear.  One reason I got the trophy was for two up touring so it is always good to hear that pillions like it.

Me too. Finally a bike my wife likes...the last one she liked was 10 yrs ago -> BMW K1200LT, truly wonderful bike was that one! The 1600 can't hold a candle to it, way too big and heavy. Glad to hear that your wife liked it.  I'm sad to say I can't get my wife on either the Trophy or the ST.  :110:  My children have both been  out. My daughter prefers the ST while my son prefers the Trophy.
