Colour choices in next Australian batch
« on: June 19, 2013, 08:00:56 am »
I just had a phone call from the local dealer. It seems silver Trophys are being brought in in the next shipment towards the end of the year.  I have stuck with pacific Blue (unless I have a change of mind) but it is a hard choice.

They will be all SEs, but there may be some changes, as yet unknown. Including the heated grips from the factory would be logical, as I am sure everyone gets them.

It would be nice if they threw the heated grips in but I bet they don't. They should though given the price of the SE.

Stay with Blue. Silver is so yesterday  :745:

So are you saying that Triumph is going to stick with only Silver and Blue for color choices in 2014?

I wasn't told of any other choice of colour.  I assume they will be this year's model. The dealer thought there might be some (minor) changes, so pricing was not final as yet.

I am going on the limb here...but I would like to paint my TT white...Yeap! White is my fav color. Statistically, its the color of vehicles that had the least amount of wrecks, it does not show up dirt as much, it keeps cooler because white repels light, and drivers think its an cop on an RT behind them and typically will switch lanes and get out of your way...and of course, white goes with my persona more coherently because I am sort of an angelic-being.... :164: :107: :107: :107:

My ST1100 is police white. Other vehicles definitely think they are doing something wrong and slow down most times - very annoying!  In a group I try and get others to lead to get around the problem.
