Tell me I did the right thing!

I bought my current Trophy (standard - not SE!) in March 2013 after a test ride that lasted about an hour. It's had all the Triumph upgrades (cylinder head, main stand, screen motor etc) and it's been an excellent bike and I have been well looked after by the dealer. It's a wonderful bike,  I love it!
However, I was in a motorcycle showroom a couple of days ago and spotted a new bike that seems to be better than my Trophy! I found my head spinning and  spoke to the manager who came up with a very good offer to change my Trophy for the new bike!
So next Thursday I say goodbye to my  old Trophy and ride away on a brand new -------- Trophy SE!
Now that I've had time to think I've realised that financially this is probably not a good thing to do, what with Triumph stopping production, but I am as excited as  I was when I bought the first one - and this one is better! I cannot see a better bike for the money from any other manufacturer. It will interesting to see how the new one compares with my current one!

Have I done the right thing?
I know my answer! What's yours?

Congrats on your move. The right choice is the one that pleases you! I'm confident you won't be disappointed with the SE  :047:

Trophy to Trophy SE?  What an upgrade! Enjoy the new ride, you're going to love it.  :821:

I think it is the smart move!  I would not worry too much about the end of production.  Triumph will still support the Trophy for 12 years so you have a long time to ride it with no worries.  Mine is a 2016 so I plan on enjoying it for many years to come.

Is that the Pacific Blue one in Triumph Birmingham with the "SOLD" sign on it ?

I was in there only 2 days ago myself ( getting some parts for a Member in the U.S.
that was having trouble sourcing them ).

If so - Sorry about the saliva stains - they're mine- they should polish out !  :745:

Enjoy the new bike (for you) and it looked good when I spotted it last week  :001: :001: the TES is worth the upgrade alone.

Congratulations! I am seriously considering doing the same with my 2013 TTSE, because this will be a keeper for my retirement years. Only question is if I do it before, or after a trip to Spain in June? So I obviously believe you have done the right thing  :062:
