installation of GIVI top case on 2015 Trophy

Hey all, finally finished installing a GIVI top case. GIVI does not make a bracket for the Trophy so I had a plate manufactured by a local metal works facility (to a template I supplied) and bolted my existing brackets to the plate. I then was able to install the GIVI universal plate to the brackets and case was then able to snap in place. A bit of work but I like that case and didn't want to spring for the Triumph so there ya go! It is a beautiful day here in Ohio so I will be getting out and about on the bike today so ride safe all!

    Hi PlumRider,

I'm sure a lot of our Members would appreciate some Photo's
of the set up, including details of the mounting plate you had made.

..... After you get back from your ride of course !  :153:

When I bought my trophy, 2013, A1 moto in York fitted a monokey plate to the bike and I have used an e55 case since then. It is more spacious than the triumph top box and weighs about half as much.

Since the Triumph top case was also used on the Sprint GT, would the GIVI mount for the Sprint GT fit the Trophy?

I just had a look on the World of Triumph Web Site,
and the "Sliding Carriage" onto which the Trophy Top Box is fitted,
is the exact same Part Number for the Sprint GT,
so if the Givi mount for the Sprint GT
fixes onto the Sliding Carriage, then YES !

If it fixes onto the mountings underneath the Sliding carriage,
but uses the same mounting holes that the Sliding Carriage is fixed to,
then I would imagine it will also fit.

The best thing to do would be to ask Givi UK if they know the answer,
using their Request Information On Line Form,
explaining that the 2 Models seem to use the same mounting holes,
or if they don't know, ask if they will accept a Return if you buy one and it doesn't fit.

Of course if it DOES fit, then Givi can add the Trophy to their list
of compatible Models - which will increase their sales  :002:
    Cheers  :821:

Did we ever get clarity here? I would like to go to a Givi rear trunk setup, but I see conflicting info as to what I need to do to accomplish this.

    Thoughts?

I did something similar a number of years ago and found the Givi cases a great deal with mre storage and a lot less costly.  Here is how I did it.

    https://www.triumph-trophy.com/index.php/topic,2151.24.html

I did something similar to my 2015 Triumph Explorer 1200(TEX)  also however, Givi made a made a mount specific to the TEX.

I have the Triumph factory top box for my TEX in the basement and I will install it again when I sell the bike.

Thanks for that! That's precisely what I was looking for. Nicely done.
