Just got the first (500 mile) service done on the new bike!
Installed the GPS mount (thanks again to all who post such awesome and useful info on this forum!).   :047:
Bought a Ram ball to mount a cup holder on the switch gear. Got some bag liners....

Ready for a road trip!   :821:

Heading out next week for a 2200 mile circle around the southeast!!
10 days on the road with the new bike, and great friends!!
    Can't wait!

    Full report upon return....

Good on you Hadenough. Don't forget a ride report with lots of pictures when you get back.  :152:

How did you mount the ram ball on the switch gear?

I screwed it into the hole where the mirror would screw in - if there were a mirror there. There is a little black plug in the hole when the bike is delivered.

There's one on each of the Front Master Cylinders ( Front Brake & Clutch ).

Thread size are both M10 x 1.25 and both are "Right Hand" threads  :028:

    Can you post a picture?

    Have a great trip!
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

And it doesn't block the view of the gauges or the mirror, where I have it.
Or hit the tank when you turn the bars full stop.
