    Greetings from Charlotte, NC, USA

I came across this forum by accident when looking for the differences between the '15 and '17 Trophys.  The dealer I patronize in SC has a leftover Blue '15.  Several years ago he had a new '01 Trophy that sat around for a few years - I was smitten but didn't really need another bill at the time.  Plenty of new Trophys are for sale in the region; rare (if ever) I see one on the road.  Not new to Triumph; current bike is an '08 Sprint ST ABS and my previous bike was an '01 Sprint ST.

Fell for Triumph decades ago when a bar chum bought a nearly new '78 Bonneville from a co-worker going through a divorce - often loved that bike more than the '78 CB750K I owned at the time.  Didn't help that the local dealer in FL constantly offered 'test rides' (couldn't say no) but I could never justify the difference in price and features.  Triumph has come a long way - Thank you Mr. Bloor.

Wishing everyone a safe, and enlightened journey.

Hi SprintST1050 and :400: to the Forum !

So are you buying the left over 2015 Trophy ?

Have you taken it, or another Trophy for a Test Ride yet ?

    Cheers  :821:

    Thanks for the welcome. :-)

I have yet to ride the new generation but rode a couple of the previous generation some years back.  Too much going on at the moment to purchase a new bike but it catches my eye every time I visit the dealer.  Haven't talked money but I know it will be right from past experience.

    Thanks. :-)

Just looking at the bike and reading about its features always gets my attention.  The youtube vids have been very positive too.  My experience with my Sprints has been stellar, with the exception of the useless high beam on my current Sprint.  A shame as my previous Sprint had really good headlamps.  I converted my current bike over to LEDs; a complete waste and converted back to the Halogen bulbs.  I've read where the current Trophy has superb headlamps (electrically adjustable too!).
