    Hello from Denver

As an ex owner of a 2012 Triumph 800 and a current owner of a 2014 Tex, I have routinely lusted after the Trophy, (and especially the SE), but could never justify or more accurately convince my wife that I needed a new bike.  "A new bike! You don't need a new bike!!"  And she was right.  I didn't need a new bike, but I sure did want one.  So last week I got an email from the Triumph dealer in Las Vegas with their latest specials.  I couldn't believe it.  They had a brand new 2017 Trophy SE in black with 12 miles on it for only $11,995!  This was the best price by a long shot that I had seen.   To make a long story short, I am now the very proud owner of a beautiful, black Trophy SE!   I pulled it into my garage yesterday afternoon after a two day 800 mile break-in ride from Vegas to my home here in Denver.  (I did avoid a lot of freeway miles, riding through the amazing southern portions of Utah and Colorado on two lane highways.).

However, after about 150 miles out of Vegas I did discover my first issue.  I decided to try out the Electronic Suspension.  Unfortunately, when I went to the Adjustment screen, the TES was missing.  While I am waiting to hear back from the dealer on this, my assumption is that this will be easily solved with a reinstall of the software.  The only other issue I have is to figure out how to get a little relief for my knees. I plan to order the standard seat to replace the Low Ride seat that comes standard as well as look into possibly lowering the pegs.

Other than that, I am happy to be a new member of the Trophy family!

    Regards,  T.

Hello and welcome..... :400:hope you enjoy the Trophy

With regard to the TES. Were you trying to adjust on the move or stationary?

The load can only be adjusted while stationary, mode should be adjustable between comfort, normal and sport on the go.

CBiker, the issue with the TES is that it is completely missing as an option under the adjustment screen page. The traction control, TTC, is visible but TES is just not shown at all. I tried to pull it up while stopped as well as while moving but no luck.   :003:

    Thanks for the good wishes.

Thats cool..... I just wanted to check as I know the menus can be quite extensive compared to other bikes...

If you use the search function I think another member had a similar issue recently with a new bike they had picked up, as you say, just needed a connection to the computer with a Triumph mechanic who actually knew what they needed to do to deliver a new SE!!!

You should be able to get that sorted easily enough.

Hi colowild and :400: to the Club !

Cropbiker is correct - other new owners, especially in the U.S.
have found the TES Adjustment missing from their Menu,
but on returning to the Dealer they were able to sort it out,
though depending on their knowledge of the system, they may need
to make a call to Triumph, to ask how it's done !

Of course this is something that SHOULD have been checked by the Dealer prior to delivery,
so hopefully they will offer you something such as discount on parts / accessories etc
for your time and trouble in having to return for them to put this right !

    Cheers  :821:
