Hi USAROCKS,
I know that some of our Members have this installed on their Trophy,
so I just had a look at the Specs on the Garmin Web Site.
It depends what you mean by "Hard Wired" .....
For the Power supply, Yes - the Cradle that is supplied with the 395
can be Hard Wired to the Trophy dedicated "Clean" Power supply,
which is a moulded socket located behind and below the left mirror pod.
There's a Triumph Accessory Cable Kit ( A9938122 ) that can be purchased
to plug into that Socket and it's then just a case of connecting the bare ends
of the two Garmin 395 cradle wires ( "+" and "-" ) to the bare ends
of the Triumph accessory cable by using a couple of crimp connectors,
or for best results by soldering.
For the audio side of things, while the Trophy also has a dedicated "NAV" audio input,
( 3.5mm audio Jack plug ), which the previous Garmin 600 model could be plugged into,
it looks like the 395 does not have the required audio cable from the cradle,
so you will have to utilise the Bluetooth function of your 395 for audio.
I've just purchased the Garmin 595 Model which DOES have an Audio Out cable from the Cradle,
but having considered the various options, I shall connect it, but leave "NAV AUDIO" disabled
in the Trophy Audio Menu for most of the time.
The reason for this is that I shall be using a Helmet equipped with Bluetooth,
which will be paired with the Garmin 595, with my iPhone also paired to the Garmin 595,
rather than pairing the iPhone to the Trophy.
This will give me the benefit of a better interface between the Garmin 595 and my iPhone
than the Trophy to iPhone interface, with the ability to Receive AND MAKE Phone calls if necessary
( probably only ever in an Emergency ), which the Trophy interface cannot do,
and will also provide the additional features available via the Garmin Smart Link App on the iPhone,
together with music streaming from my iPhone or Spotify account.
By having the Garmin Audio Output connected to the Trophy NAV Input,
this will provide flexibility to still use the Garmin 395 Voice instructions
should the iPhone be unavailable for any reason ( Left it at home / Battery needs charging etc ),
by Pairing my Helmet to the Trophy and switching "NAV AUDIO" back on in the Trophy Menu.
Cheers
