New member from El Dorado KS

Good Morning All
After lurking on these pages for several weeks, I finally became a member a couple of weeks ago.  Thank you mark4252 for letting me sit on yours before I scheduled a test ride.

I brought my new 2016 (Black) Trophy SE home on Saturday.  Had to ride 170 miles, about half of it in the rain, and didn't mind.  After riding naked bikes for years, this was a huge change for me.  The 200 pound difference from my former bikes was a bit intimidating, but I hardly notice it now.  I expect to have 500 miles by Saturday, so will be doing the first service then.  You can trust that I have read a couple of threads on servicing the bike, and will go back through them before then.  Thank you all, especially those who share their experience (both positive and negative) and knowledge.

If anyone is passing thru El Dorado, holler and we will meet at the Walnut River Brewing Company for a pint of Coffee Porter.

  DKS. Spent one night in El Dorado at the Best Western on the way home from one of our western trips.  It was the best hotel we stayed at during the whole trip.  Enjoy the TTSE.
