Tank Pads for the Trophy
« on: June 21, 2013, 05:47:42 PM »
Just thought I would share this pic of tank pads I have put onto my Trophy SE.

I couldn't find any specifically for the Trophy so I thought about other options. These are actually intended for a BMW R1200RT but seem to be pretty well shaped to fit the tank right where your knees rub.

I got them from www.nippynormans.com where I used to get all my bits when I rode a BMW.

Good self adhesive strips in place all round the edge to give a firm stick.

Are they nice and trippy for your knees.  I will look around to get some I think.

If you mean grippy, then yes! :001:

They really help hold that tank..... and protect it at the same time.... nice colour match with the Triumpn seat too so they look designed for it

My buddy has them on his RT.
I thought exactly the same thing and have them ordered
after the 850km ride home from the dealership.. the knee area on the tank was quite scuffed from my leathers.
