    Soft resale for TTSE

Too many bikes, so I've decided to cut down the herd. Trying to sell my 2013 Pacific Blue TTSE, both on Cycletrader as well as the classifieds here. Absolutely no interest! It's an amazing bike, flawless with all the right options, including new tires and battery. Even has another 1-1/2 years of a premium extended warranty.
Asking price? Down to $9000 and still no takers, not even any tire kickers. 9700 miles.

Is the used market really this soft. At this point, I'm open to offers. Do you know anyone who would like a smokin' deal?

    Let me know!

    Thanks.

It's frustrating when you've got a car or bike that's so good and no one's interested. Been there!

Simple answer: you're selling the wrong bike!

Iím not fussy, as long as itís built in Hinckley or Solihull and tours, or goes off road, Iím happy!

Triumph is hurting the market with their lack of advertising. No one knows anything about the Trophy. Except, us in the forum. :138:

In case no one has noticed, I've reduced the price to a staggering all time low of $7500, and I just paid the registration for another year! And still no takers, unbelievable!!

Same ol' story; "that's a Triumph?", "Triumph makes bikes like that", "I thought that was BMW?"...I could go on and on! With responses like that it's no wonder you're not getting bites :431:!

Having checked your advert here, some nice large, colour, photos of a properly shiney bike would make a huge difference, followed by some regular updates and additional information on the thread to keep interest up.

Attacking Triumph's woeful record on advertising and publicity is fair comment, but it's also important for us not to expect buyers to form a queue in response to a few lines of black and white text either  :038:

I find the best time to sell a bike is spring time. The warmer weather seems to bring out the tire kickers.I did have a BMW K1200s for sale for about a year.Reduced the price only once and removed it for three months during cold weather season.Have patience
and don't settle for a price you will be unhappy with as the fellow drives away with a great bike.
The 2 best days of a boat,RV or motorcycle are the day you bought it and the day you sold it.

As long as the day you sell it is followed by another day of buying a newer one!
