Hello from the Home of the Little League World Series!

Hello everyone!
I am a new member that does not own a Trophy yet but intend to soon.
Presently, I ride a 2015 Triumph Tiger 800 XRX and a 2013 Honda NC700X.
Prior to the Tiger I rode a 2013 Triumph Rocket III Touring bike for three years.
I am a huge fan of the Triumph brand.
I love their selection of models.
I am leaning hard towards the Trophy as a long distance machine for my wife and myself.
I was raised on cruisers and never looked at anything else.
Then my brother-in-law started riding 5 years ago.
He opened my eyes to the naked sport bikes.
My back prevents me from the "lean way forward" bikes.
Plus, just no desire to ride like that.
But my eyes were opened to the Adventure bikes and sport tourers.
After looking at the BMW R1200RT and the K series I am more in love with everything I read and see regarding the TTSE.
I just found your site today and have been checking on various threads.
Seems like a lot of respect for each other here and a general love of riding and the Trophy.
I have been learning a lot this morning.
Thank you to everyone here!
God bless!!
Michael

Hi Pa Triumph Guy and
to the Forum !
If you haven't already done so then you really must arrange a Test Ride of the Trophy,
which will tell you far more than reading the masses of information in here !
...... just remember to take some cash or your check book for the deposit
that you will inevitably want to put down when the test ride is over !
Cheers

Coconut and Verdun:
Thank you both very much.
The closest Triumph dealer is 98 miles away.
A week from today that dealer is having a big Triumph demo.
He does have both a Trophy and a Bonneville T120 on hand.
Two bikes I am very anxious to ride.
I am hoping the weather holds and allows us to make the trip down to ride these beautiful machines.
Larry:
I was actually looking at your Cycletrader ad this morning.
What jumped out at me:
How nice the bike looks without the panniers attached.
The awesome price (made me look twice - thinking maybe panniers were not included!)
If I recall Chino is San Diego area meaning the Trophy has been in a great weather area away from the effects of snow and ice melt we are subject to on the roads up here.
Your add certainly did catch my eyes!
So, you do crate and ship???
Hmmmm!!
God bless!!
Michael

Welcome to the forum. Take a test ride, then decide.
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

Hello Michael and welcome!
It is a great bike and this is a great forum, the best I have ever been involved with.
As you say, helpful, respectful and honest in our opinions.
Coconut is right, get yourself a test ride and if you want a brand new bike do it soon, some great deals to be had over there in the US
Welcome,
Kevin

Bludy L, Stelyn, Cropbiker:
Thanks!
Hoping to test real soon.
I am watching the weather for next Saturday.
Triumph demo planned at the closest Triumph dealer 2 hours from here.
So far so good.
Throwing a leg over both a Bonnie and a Trophy.
Tested a Honda CRX1300.
Hard ride.
Felt every stone and bump on the road.
Rode this because the opportunity was there.
Never really a consideration.
God bless and ride safe!!
Michael
