    Dunlop Roadsmart III

Called dealer ordered a pair of Roadsmart IIIs to be fitted August 29th.  Got good mileage out of original STs, tried PR4s as the second set of tires.  Did not do well for me.  Went back to the STs, did well but not as well as the first set.  I realize they are relatively new but has anyone else tried the Roadsmart IIIs?

Just put a set on the Buell S3. Haven't had a chance to push them yet but they handle and ride well on the easy roads. Hope to get them to the mountains soon and see how they do.

I ordered a set a few weeks ago and they are at my local dealer waiting for me to return from the trip I'm on. I'm currently on my second set of PR4 GTs and not all that happy with their longevity. Hoping for better life from the Dunlop tires. Have sent in the rebate which makes the tire set expense much more tolerable.

just ordered a set of roadsmart III. Hope they turn out to be good tires, I was leaning towards metzler since I ran several sets on a st1300 and liked how they grip. Seems hard to find very many that have much experience with this tire but with the price $413 installed and the fact that till august 31 dunlop has a $60 rebate. Schedule is to get them next Tuesday. I'm not an aggressive rider anymore and the original tires, pirelli, have 8900 miles on them now and still have tread, just flattened off and noisy. Love the triumph. I'm also planning to have the rear tire monitor replaced, I had the same problem so many did with low battery showing even from the first year but didn't get enough miles on it to change tires so now i'm out of warranty on it so I guess the moral of that is I need to ride more. I'll post an update after I get these.

I would like to know about the longevity of this tire.  Replaced the rear Angel at 8500 miles.  Would like to get a little more than that out of a tire.

Just replaced my shoes with these Roadsmart 3's ~ almost 11,000 miles on the originals.

I have to say I'm very happy with the wheel removal & refitting process - super quick and very straight forward!

Hope to scuff the hairs off the tyres tomorrow if weather is okay.  :156:
