    Just turned 35,000 miles today!
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

Having done 35k (miles) on the first Trophy A bike, 38k on the second and since May on a 2017 SE and 6000 miles in already I'm very happy with the Trophy. Takes abit of getting used to, sure, teething trouble in the beginning, recalls etc, size, weight and now servicing costs but there's still nothing to touch it for specification for the price.

What I do when the warranty's up on this one I don't know. (I don't have a car, so the comfort that the 2 year warranty gives me is critical) Are Triumph going to produce another tourer?
I doubt it if the market wants 'adventure' bikes as it seems to. SE with an Explorer engine to meet Euro 4?

:046: Way to go on the amount of miles placed on your TTSE!  Do you have offered in the UK an extended warranty plan?  Here, I opted for a 5 year unlimited mileage warranty pass the 2 years offered by Triumph.  It was not that expensive and gives me great peace of mind.  I hope if this is offered you will get it.  It will certainly pay for itself I am sure.

    My Best Wishes,
    Gary

Congrats!  I am a bit jealous with my paltry 9300 miles...
But, it has been less than a year and I have a cager.
    Year round rider here!

I wanted to add I am one of those guys who will probably only put on 3,000 miles per year.  I don't see how you can ride that much.  I guess if I went on every ride my MC Chapter has I might make it up to that 10K mark.  But hey, I'm 67 and a fair weather rider!
