    Hurricane Irma

Well - it's come to this.  I'm sitting in my house which is directly in the eyewall path of Hurricane Irma - which has been described as the most powerful Atlantic storm in history.  All of our windows and doors have hurricane shutters and doors, but it's a nervous time nonetheless.  And what's worse, I had total knee replacement surgery scheduled for next Monday, at which time the storm will be right here - so that's been postponed as well, leaving me with constant and severe knee pain and severely limited mobility.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm ever going to get back on the Trophy and just ride.  Too many things coming together in a a bad way.

We'll probably be without power for quite some time - but I'll get back on here as soon as I can and let you know how this all comes out.

    Thanks for listening.

Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  You've obviously done this before.  Do what you need to do.

    KSquared,

Prayers are with you and others in Florida and the Caribbean.  Just don't go outside and take a selfie in 150 mph wind!  :005:

Don't sweat the knee replacement, mine done 3 years ago and after some initial scar tissue issues, I have managed to put 10K a year on my bikes since.

Please let us know on Monday that everything is OK.

    ZShyster
