    Hello,

I'm John and live in the Netherlands.
Recently I bought my Trophy SE and already I love that machine (haven't come up with a name yet :). After receiving my license some 4 years ago I owned a Guzzi Breva and after that, my trade in for the SE, a Guzzi Stelvio.
Hope to find use- and needful tips and tricks to enjoy the Trophy even more.

    Grtz, John

    Hi John,
Welcome to the Forum!!  People are great here and can help you out with about any question you have on your bike.  You know I live in the middle of the U.S. and have never been out of the Country.  I have no idea where the Netherlands are except it is somewhere in Europe.  I think it is composed of different countries, right?  If wrong please excuse a stupid American.
I hope you find enjoyment with the good folks on this site!
    Best Wishes,
    Gary

Gary, The Netherlands are in Europe indeed! You Americans are not stupid at all, I think. You liberated our country (together with your allies) from the Nazi-regime. Ever heard of its capital Amsterdam? Btw.: our national lottery is older than the USA not to mention the history of people like Peter Stuyvesant who was director-general of New Netherland, a Dutch colony in the 17th century until the British took over and renamed the town into New York. Stuyvesant was hindered to ride a Triumph as he had a wooden leg.

John, welcome to the forum and congrats on the purchase of this excellent motorcycle. I hope you are getting as much joy from your new Trophy as I am from mine.  I think you will enjoy the time you spend on this site as well. This is a great group and there is a wealth of information that can be found here.

    Hey Henk,

Thank you for the kind response!  I have definitely heard of Amrsterdam and Peter Stuyvesant.  You folks I understand have some of the nicest and most interesting cities in Europe.  My Dad fought in WWII flying B17's (Flying Fortress) bombing the Nazis.  I was born 5 years after the war was over.  My wife and I are in our 60's and plan someday to visit your Country and Great Britain.  I hope you really enjoy your TTSE.  It is a wonderful bike!

    My Best,
    Gary
