Current FJR owner in WI checking out the Trophy

Hello from WI.  I am currently a semi-happy FJR owner and am taking a serious look at the TT.  I joined to do some  research and learn.  I currently have a 2011 Yamaha FJR and it has been a great machine.  But there are a couple of things that I am struggling to get used to and have been scoping out the Triumph.  I look forward to getting to know the Trophy and some of the other members.

Hi hfjeff and :400: to the Forum !

All the information you could possibly need to know about the Trophy
is probably right here in the Forum, in fact there's so much information,
that it can sometimes take a while to find it - even after using the excellent
"Search" facility, so if there's anything specific you need to know,
and can't find the answer, just start a New Topic in a relevant Section,
and one of our friendly, knowledgeable Members will be along to help !

The BEST research you can do though is to take a Trophy for a TEST RIDE -
that will answer most of your questions, and leave you with one : "Where do I sign ?"  :028:

    Cheers  :821:

:400: hfjeff. As Coconut said, or you could just go and buy a new Trophy without riding one. That way it would be like winning the lottery, everything good would come your way. :821:

:400: to the forum.  Fortunately the Trophy is one bike that CAN be test ridden.

    Jeff,

I checked out the FJR in 2013 when I got my TTSE. A great machine. However. I liked the seating position on the Trophy better and at the time it had way more gizmos for just a little more money.

The TTSE has been a wonderful bike for me and for the wife and it to use on long trips. Take one out for a test ride.

    Welcome to the forum.
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

:401: hjjeff from WI.  Do not listen to Coconut or BludyL, do not test ride the Trophy.  No-one has been able to resist buying after a test ride.  On second thought go ahead test it.  Maybe you will be the first to not buy.  Have fun whatever you decide.
