My bike just broke down.
« on: June 27, 2013, 08:30:15 PM »
  :012:
I turned the ignition key, the bubble rises, the light turns on and off, I press the start button ...... it nothing happens.
The bike is at my dealer and diagnostic tool, finds no fault.
I fear that it will be difficult to find the problem

 Maybe it's the starter switch

Starter switch, I was thinking the same but i assume the dealer checked that!

Did you tried to switch on the bike without the side stand?
This only because I’ve had an issue with the gear sensor and I had the same issue. When you loock at gear indicator, does it show neutral?

yes
before giving it to the dealer I tried several times to pass a speed and return to neutral
I watched as the contactor side stand to see if it was not blocked and the clutch lever switch
all working correctly  :087:

Could it be the Clutch lever play. ie  not clearing to allow start up.

Just a thought

The dealer couldn't diagnose  :187:  Even with a Triumph diagnostic tool :156:  Has to be either incredibly serious or else something so simple that it was overlooked.
