Quick Question re: Sena 20S Pairing to TTSE

Can someone explain how to pair the Sena 20S to the TTSE bluetooth?  I can't seem to find how from the TTSE's owner's manual and was hoping that someone who has done this could help me out. I want to listen to music via bluetooth from my bike in my ear set.  Your kind simple instructions to one who is dense would greatly be appreciated!!  :087:

    Best Regards,
    Gary

Do you have the Trophy Audio manual?  It's a separate book on the audio system and page 44 is where the bluetooth instructions start.  If not I'll do a refresher myself and also look at the Sena 20S user manual on line and send you a PM.  Haven't had to re-pair any devices in a year now.  Let me know if you don't have the manual, it has detailed instructions on bluetooth pairing, and once your Sena is in pairing mode it's quick and easy.

    Hey Trophied,

Thanks for the info!  I do have the audio booklet with my owner's manual but it doesn't (in my opinion) give directions how to pair the audio from the bike to the head set.  Like I said I'm not too good at this.

    Best Wishes!

    Hi Gary,

You don't specifically "Pair the Audio", you just Pair your "Headset".  :169:

    • With Ignition ON and Radio ON -
Press and Hold "M" for 2 seconds to enter RADIO SETTINGS
    • Scroll down to BLUETOOTH and Press "i"
    • Scroll to HEADSET 1 and press "i"
    • Scroll to PAIR and press "i"
    • Put your Sena or other Bluetooth Headset into Pairing Mode
( If I Remember Correctly you Pair it to the Trophy as though the Trophy were a Mobile Phone
by pressing and holding the Sena Phone button for 5 seconds until the LED's are flashing
and there have been some beeps followed by an announcement "Phone Pairing",
and follow any other instructions such as entering a PIN Number ( "0000" for the Sena 20S )
( some Headsets need this step, others don't ),
using a combination of the Scroll buttons and "i" button.

Once your Sena Headset is Paired, you need to go back into the
RADIO SETTINGS menu, as above, then scroll down to AUDIO SETUP,
then press "i", then Scroll down to AUDIO OUTPUT, then press "i",
then scroll to HEADSET and press "i" to select the Output
of the Trophy Audio system to be sent to your Paired Headset.

    Hope that helps  :028:

    Cheers  :821:

I'm still trying to figure out why Triumph call it a "SELECT" button,
and then go and put a letter "i" on it !  :087:

I found out that patience was the key during setup.  Set bike up first them helmet bluetooth as I recall.  Before committing to a setting you will probably have to wait several seconds for the mechanism to do its magic.  Found out that when rushing through and expecting immediate results nothing happened, for the most part.  Read ALL instructions carefully and don't just rely on the flash card that comes with the Sena unit (along with the manual).  Expediency often requires patience and deliberate action.
