I know this will sound snide and I do not intend at all to be.  Really just a curious it's with no flame or insult intended.  Why did you buy an aftermarket top box when the Trophy has color matching top box available?  The Trophy box is color matching and very easy to use.  Again just wondering what drove your decision

Thanks for posting pics. This is a great option to the stock offering. I am looking for a top case for occasional use and this looks perfect.
Now that you have had it for a while, what is your review? Is it sturdy as a passenger backrest? Watertight?

Box Looks great.  Was it an easy install?
It may not be legal but I have a Dr's note!

my in tension was to use it for long trips.but it seems now i just leave it on the bike.there is a light kit available and a back pad i do not have any of them.i paid $78+$22 shipping so i can't complainer.i had to drill two holes in the grab bar plate and remove the tail light to get the nuts on the forever screws using long needle nose pliers.it is almost identical to givi 46 liter for a lot less money

I'm looking at an after market top case and am concerned about the mounting plate. Did  you have any problems attaching it? Could you explain what you had to do?
