    Good Evening All,
After stalking both Triumph's and your excellent web sites, I pulled the trigger on a new 2017 Black TTSE. So Glad I did. This is a wonderful motorcycle. Can't understand why it was not better received by consumers or why the dealers were selling at a ridiculous $12K USD. No matter, works for me.  However, on her first long maiden voyage from Delaware to up state New York, temp tags and all, I was 60 miles from home sitting at a traffic light minding my own business when a dump truck drove up my arse end. We were both stopped, guess he got tired of waiting for the light to change. Although furious and fit to be tied, I was not injured and was able to ride her home. She is still in the shop being repaired but should be good as new shortly ( assuming the parts from England find their way to the States) .
Just wanted to say hi and thanks for all of the great info on the site.

:400: GTTTSE That's quite an unfortunate story.  Hope she gets fixed soon.  The season is getting short.  You are correct, as an owner you would think Triumph couldn't make them fast enough.  Sigh, if people only knew what they were missing.

GTTTSE,  :400: from down under. Sorry to read about your Trophy being used to slow the truck up. Bikes can be fixed, skin takes longer. Glad you came out unscathed. Cheers  :821:

Welcome. You are a wise man as you assessed the TTSE to be a wonderful bike. I prefer to refer to it as a magnificent motorcycle, but to each his own. I'm glad the crash was no worse that you describe. I hope you get it back soon and get out there riding.
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

GTTTSE  :401:  Congrats on the new Trophy, a truly magnificent motorcycle.  It's unfortunate that your story got interrupted by a moron.  It does not sound too bad though, so I hope they can get your new baby up and running again soon.
