    Trophy Colors

I know that there are three colors of Trophy (silver, blue and black).  I have seen no other colors.  A dealer down in Texas was selling the blue Trophys for $1,000 less than the black ones.  Is the black color anything special? And, are there any other colors of Trophys?

I love the blue, mine is  :008: :745:......A chap I know / knew in London had a silver one that I test rode a few years ago, yes it took me a while to buy on.....No disrespect to any silver Trophy owners, but the colour doesn't do it for me, I had a silver Sprint Gt for about a month, didn't like the colour, now the Cranberry Red Triumph do or did on the Sprint, that's a nice colour, just wish they did the Trophy in it, again, I don't do red, but that I can make an exception for, my last bike, a Honda CBF 1000 was Pearl Sienna Red, that was okay too.

Now that the subject has been brought up I favor the 'Tornado Red' that has colored a number of Hinckley Triumphs!  My '01 ST was of this color and with all three boxes.

The three colours you mention are the only ones that have ever been offered for the Trophy.

Some say black ones are faster and should be worth more but we owners of blue ones know better.

One of my all time favorite colors on one of my all time favorite motorcycles, early '80s Suzuki GS 1100 E.  I've seen it referred to 'Fantastic Copper Gold metallic.  I've seen a similar color on Sprint GTs sold in some european and asian markets.

Black Trophys Matter  <sorry so not-PC>

I love my silver color TTSE.  Doesn't show dirt... I ride 'em, don't worship 'em, don't wash 'em often.  Just keep up on the mechanical...

I totally agree, I found out about silver and the cleaning aspect some years ago when I got my first silver car, personally I think it makes most vehicles look rather smart and it's a timeless colour. My wife isn't so keen, she prefers yellow or orange. Lol

I've seen a red 2013 SE advertised, but turns out it was a special order by gene first owner. And pre-SE there were certainly other colours of Trophy, notably the British Racing Green.
