Blue Tooth Sena (or other mfg) done the following hook up?

Has anyone just paired their Sena (or other manufacturers) blue tooth device directly to their telephone for GPS, Music and Telephone and also paired it with the TTSE's blue tooth for XM Sirius and other radio? If so, how's it working for you.  I can't afford the Garmin GPS for the bike and\or am unwilling to part with the outlay for this, a Triumph mount and the wiring and labor to put it in for what I would use it for.  But I am getting an I-Phone 8 which is water resistant.  Currently have an I-Phone 6 plus.  Any ideas on the best way to pair the phone and the bike? I have to pay for for an unfortunate time when I dropped my bike.  :157:  :138:

With a Sena and Apple IOS 11.03:
Delete all pairings on the Sena in the configuration menu (unless it's new and never been paired to anything)
Delete Headset 1 pairing on the Trophy (if something has been paired to it)
Turn on the Sena, and after the blue light flashes slowly, press the phone button for 5 seconds until you hear "phone pairing", release the button, and within 2 seconds press the phone button again and you will hear "media selective pairing".
Pull up the bluetooth settings in the phone and make it discoverable (if it isn't automatically) and wait for it to pair with the Sena.
Turn off bluetooth on the phone
Turn on the ignition key on the Trophy and pull up the audio menu, scroll down to the Bluetooth tab, select that tab, then scroll down to the Headset 1 tab and select that tab.  Do not select "pair" in that setting until you have the Sena in pairing mode.
Press the phone button on the Sena for 5 seconds until you hear "phone pairing" prompt, then select the "pair" tab on the Trophy and wait for it to discover the Sena.
On my SMH10 it will show up on the Trophy screen, but you have to press the "P" button to enter 4 "0"'s and press it one last time and it will show paired and you will get a "your headset is paired" prompt.
Now you will have Phone - in and out by voice command, Trophy audio, and gps instructions if your gps is hard wired to the Trophy, intercom functions, and "Device 2" for a passenger to pair a helmet to and have Trophy audio in their own headset, and they can pair their own phone to the Sena as "phone pairing and have full function as well.
Hope this helps, this is the latest sequence on mine after the IOS update wrecked my pairing and had to redo everything
    Best of luck,
    Glenn

Should have mentioned that all those functions will be based on Sena's built in source priority as far as the audio that you get in the headset.

Duh, I'm pretty dense!  :125: Would you mind breaking that down a little bit?

    Thanks Much!

Function priorities according to the Sena user's guide:
    highest
    1. Mobile phone
    2. Intercom
    3. Stereo music by audio cable
    lowest
    Bluetooth music

Full explanations in the Sena book starting on page 21 with instructions for using each function or rejecting  a call when using intercom if desired.

Well.... Not so much help after all.  Mine will not work now.  From what I'm finding on other forums it's the IOS update, and now if you haven't already gone back to the IOS 10 version you can't get there from here anymore.  Supposedly Apple knows about it, Sena knows about it (although it really isn't their problem), and that's as far as it goes.  Obviously no one is working on a solution.  So, I may go back to an android phone, because that was working as intended.  Anyone here have a Samsung note that they are using with a Sena and the Trophy, or will I have to go to Verizon and enroll in their trial and error program until I find a phone that will work with the Sena and still allow the Trophy audio, like I USED TO HAVE before Apple screwed things beyond repair.
