    Thinking of buying a Trophy

Currently riding a 2016 Kawasaki Versys 1000 LT. Thinking of buying a new 2017 Triumph Trophy. Looking for info to help me make a decision. Have bought 39 motorcycles, 11 different brands in my 49 years of riding. My wife rides a 2014 Vstar 950 Tourer. We are 65 and 61 years old. Last bike before my Versys was a 2015 Indian Chieftain. Really like the sit up riding position over the cruiser position I was used to. I have found a super deal on a Trophy.

    Hi jackthebiker,

Sounds like you've already tried the Trophy for size - did you get to Test Ride it ?
( I think maybe not or you'd have already written the Check !   :156: )

There is a wealth of information in here about the Trophy,
so make good use of the "SEARCH" Button - up there - top left on the Main Menu Bar !

If there are specific questions that you can't find answers to,
just start a New Topic in a relevant Section of the Forum,
or even make a List of questions and Post them in the "General Chat" Section,
and you'll soon have the answers you need  :169:

You may or may not be aware that the Trophy model has recently
been discontinued by Triumph, (  :138: ) hence the excellent deals that can be had,
but Triumph have been quoted as saying they will continue to support
discontinued Models for 12 years after ceasing production !

    Cheers  :821:

    Welcome jackthebiker.

You certainly won't go wrong with the Trophy, I only bought mine two weeks ago, great bike, I was waiting ages to get the colour I wanted, Pacific Blue.
Enjoy the site, really helpful people on here.

Thanks for all the replies. I have found some new 2017 Trophys for $12,999. Waiting for a trade deal tomorrow. I bought my 2016 Versys 1000Lt new for $8100 on ebay in April. The dealer had the $13,000 bike on there with no reserve. So I don't need much for it to make me happy as I have over 13,000 miles on it.

:400: to the Forum Jack. As has been said above, you won't go wrong in buying a new Trophy. Also with the prices being offered in The States it would be a "no brainer" to not buy one. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on your "new toy" when you pick it up. :152: :158:
