    Triumph 320mm lock

Hi and apologies if this has been covered elsewhere.  I took the Triumph (Abus branded) under seat lock when I part exchanged our Explorer for our Trophy as it's the same one for each bike.  What's the best way you guys have of fitting it?  On the Explorer I would thread it through the rear wheel. I tried this today on the Trophy, but it looks a right faff.  Maybe I should take off a pannier or two and do it that way?  Will it fit through the front forks ok?  I haven't tried.

I don't have the same lock as yours, though fits very well under the seat. One thing I can tell is that it's much easier to use it on the front wheel

Thanks for the reply.  Do you ever have the situation when you say to yourself "why didn't I think of that!?"  :006:
On the Explorer I could never get it to fit properly through the front wheel, so I'd put it on the back, I just presumed the Trophy would be the same. :086:

I could while away the hours, conferrin' with the flowers
    Consultin' with the rain
And my head I'd be scratchin' while
    My thoughts were busy hatchin'
    If I only had a brain :745:

World of Triumph have always given me excellent service.  Here's their link to the lock

    http://www.worldoftriumph.com/triumph_motorcycle_parts_locator?block_01=&block_02=100061543-0-2&block_03=621910

Triumph's own part number is: A9810005 if you want to search for it elsewhere.

And a quick search on eBay UK came up with this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TRIUMPH-U-Lock-Kit-320mm-ARTAGO-fits-Tiger-Sport-REDUCED-Price-Sunday-Only-/263151357832?_trksid=p2385738.m2548.l4275   though you may want to research it as it says it's for a Tiger Sport, but it is the same size at 320mm.

Finally, there's always your local Triumph dealer.  I don't know which part of the country you're in but I've used 3, Carl Rosner, Destination Triumph Solent and my local, 3X Motorcycles and each bend over backwards to make sure I'm happy.  I can't fault any of them.
