Hi all, have you seen the new 2018 Honda Goldwing? Have to say its looking and sounding like some cracking hardware! If Triumph don't do something sharpish I might well be seeking my first Honda!

The panel is nice! Has Carplay. But I think a loaded 2018 Wing will run about $25,000 USD - or more!  :159:

Oh I now it won’t be cheap.... I suspect in the UK it will be the equivalent of around $30k!!  :005:

But it looks like it will be a hell of a machine!

I would get an Indian Roadmaster.  It is one tricked out bike. Just took my TTSE into the dealer.  That bike is one big mother with everything on it.  I think it costs about $36K.  I'll get that bike when I'm 75 and I know I won't live long enough to pay for it!   :125:

Interesting comments from current Goldwing owners that have been waiting for an update.  They are disappointed.

Although it has lost 80 pounds it still weighs 850lbs.  The gas tank is smaller giving it a 200 mile range and the side bags and trunk are all smaller.  The passenger seating area is also smaller.
These are not good changes for a touring bike.

Well, it looks like Honda is sizing down while HD and Indian are keeping their heavy touring bikes.  Honda has always had a good reputation for product integrity and longevity but these changes aren't good this year even with the hype infomercial that was downloaded.  I'm glad I have my Trophy.

At last, it's got a screen that's height adjustable at the touch of a button.

My goodness, I thought I took a jump from my Suzuki DLl-650 to my TTSE gaining about 200 pounds weight (the bike not my personal being).    Adding another 250 pounds would do me in.  I probably never will get a bike that big and heavy but understand those that want one.
