Sena has no IOS 11.0.3 solution for bluetooth use

Sena sent me a suggestion that I factory reset my headset, clear all the pairings from all the devices, then pair the Trophy as "mobile phone" and then pair the phone as "phone selective pairing" and try it.  Nope, nada, zip, zilch.  Phone won't work by voice command from the headset like before, won't mute the audio from the Trophy, so no help.  When I e-mail them back to let them know, their comment is "Sorry, looks like Apple has changed some of the settings with IOS 11.0.3 and it won't work as intended any more, but thanks for bringing it to the attention of the team".  I guess I may be shopping for an Android phone in the near future and using my wife's upgrade that is available.  Just an FYI for anyone that has an Iphone on IOS11.0.3.

Hey Glenn, I just Updated my iOS yesterday. I got on the trophy this morning and everything seem to work as it did yesterday before the update.I went out and screwed around with it for a little bit  after reading your post and only could find one difference.

I normally keep my iPhone in the trunk and connected to a USB charger. Hey Siri has never worked for me.  Using the phone button on the back of the sena 20s I was able to make phone calls, send text and use the navigate to feature. What I did notice was that when I receive the text and push the phone button to say read new text it told me to unlock my phone. This is the only thing I noticed in being different.

 I normally use the trophy USB port with a thumb drive to play music. It is still working as it should and is transferring to Bluetooth to the SENA for my music.

 I know that I probably do not use all of the features of the SENA,but other ones that I did use or continue to work with the new iOS update.

What Iphone do you have, and how is the Trophy and the phone paired to the helmet?  My Iphone 6 will not give me voice prompts into the headset if Siri is off, nor will using the phone button mute the music from the Trophy.  It used to do ALL of that before the IOS 11 update using phone and selective phone pairing.  Even clearing and resetting everything is no help.  I'm reluctant to do a complete reset on the phone since you lose all you passwords, wifi and all.  No one recommends a complete reset on an Iphone unless it is absolutely necessary for some odd reason.

Trophy to headset and iPhone to headset
This morning I had music playing from the trophy to the sena 20.  I pushed the phone button on the sena and it interrupts the music and gives me that ding sound. At that point I can say call, send text message, etc
  I am not getting any Siri voice prompts when I press the phone button, but nor have I ever.....just the ding. EDIT ....for clarification.  If I push the phone button I will get a ding.  If i say new text message I will then get the prompt of "to whom should i send your message".  I do get the voice prompts after making a command.  Hopefully, that makes sense.

And you have 11.0.3, correct?  If you do then you have one of the most rare Iphones around because users on the K1600 forum are having all sorts of issues like mine and one member who is obviously a techie says it's something to do with the Iphone not letting the bluetooth sit in wait mode (at least that's how I understand his comment) until it has a function required.  I haven't given up yet, but I'm real close to returning our household to a one Iphone family - my wifes.  Like I said it worked like a charm until 11.0.3 and immediately went haywire.

Yes 11.0.3.  I was running 1.72 firmware on the sena 20 S too.   I thought maybe you were running more current firmware so I updated mine to the 1.75 firmware. Same ending it all still works.

I just checked my I-Phone 6+ and the IOS is 10. something.  I have a note to update to the 11.0.3 but am going to pass until I find out what's causing all the connectivity problems.
