Will 2016 parts fit 2017 model ?

Hi everyone, I am just wondering about a certain issue. I have been looking at various aftermarket parts for my 2017 Trophy SE, i.e v-stream windshield, R&G crash bars, etc.. Well my problem is this. Every time I do a search on a particular website or two, nothing comes up because am am punching in 2017 under year. So if I put in 2016 something will come up. My feeling is that the fitment is no different on the 2017 than the 2016, these websites have not updated to 2017 for this particular bike, for whatever reason, and I am thinking because it is going to be obsolete. So two questions. Do you think I am on track with my reasoning, and most importantly do you think fitment should be the same?  In other words do you think if I ordered a windshield for a 2016 trophy SE , would it fit my 2017? My thought is that it will. Thanks for your input, I really like the forum by the way.

Good morning Pits - yeah, you should be good with any of the current model Trophy SE parts fitting your specific model.  From what I've noticed, most changes between the model years of our current model Trophy SE are cosmetic.

Some have related, on this forum, problems with fitting R&G crash bars but that appears to have been quality issues with the bars not Trophy SE model year based.

I have a 2014 and haven't had any issues with accessory parts.

I would seriously doubt that Triumph made any changes to the Trophy that would prevent any accessories from fitting given that it would be a "one and done" so to speak.  It would make no sense to change things on a model when there are no plans for it to continue beyond the 2017 from a cost of manufacturing point of view.  Production changes always incur added costs to the product, even if small.

Pits; Except for the logo on the clutch slave cylinder cover (which changed in 2016) and the cruise controls, I haven't seen too many differences year to year. I highly doubt you have fitment issues ordering 2016 parts for such things as you listed. But, there are experts here you will hear from I am sure.

I'm going to order a Cal Sci windscreen. It will definitely fit.  I'm sure the VStream 2016 will fit your bike.
