I have not seen anyone do this it was easy to do and works great.  Bought a 3.5mm flush mount on amazon and drilled a hole in the glove box and hooked the 3.5mm female to the 3.5mm male that is behind the glove box.

I did something similar.  I Y’d off from my gps output so that I still have music and directions from gps when I outride the sena’s battery :002:

    spl383,

    Thanks for clarifying that  :028:

For the benefit of anyone contemplating this,
note that when Audio is being played via this "NAV" connection,
other Sources such as Radio, iPod / USB, cannot be selected
unless the NAV Audio playing is stopped.

I don't have this problem.  With the mp3 connected and playing I can still toggle between fm radio, xm radio and the NAV(my mp3 player)

    That's very strange !   :084:

The Audio system is designed so that when NAV Audio is playing
it over-rides the other Audio sources !

Page 40 of the Audio Handbook :

    Note:

    • Audio output from the navigation system is treated in
the same way as a regular navigation system announcement -
it will always override any other selected source.

    • Selecting a different source or radio waveband will not pause NAV Audio playback.

To stop NAV Audio playback, stop or pause the playback on the navigation system.
