    Hand Guards for the Trophy?

I don't suppose anyone has found a pair of hand guards that's suitable for the Trophy?

I'm thinking of wind protection, having heated grips is great but the outside edge of my fingers are still feeling uncomfortably cold on my half hour commute to work, I'm guessing that's due to the icy blast despite the position of the factory mirrors.

Any guard would have to be of a slim design or maybe of transparent material otherwise you'd not see anything that's behind you in the mirrors. :008:

I've just found these, having an extra indicator seems like a good idea too but on this bike, surely the mirrors would obscure them??

When this bike needs more wind protection for your hands or any other body parts, itís  time to buy heated gear. :002:

Heated inner gloves did cross my mind but do the wires run down each finger I'm wondering?

Iíve had these for years.  Used them much more often when I had the Concours.

I have found them to be pretty evenly heated and have never noted any part of my hand that is not toasty.

I've also used those gloves for a few years on a breezy Suzuki DL650.  I'm not sure if those specific gloves are available to folks in the UK however.  Still, idea seems to work.  For those in the US Cycle Gear does seem to have them on sale during the off season.  I wouldn't count on anything off before cold weather ends however.   :002:

There is another solution that a friend uses WITH his heated grips when the conditions get really bad. Suitability will probably depend on how often you need protection and how badly you need it. Oh yeah, whether looking cool is more important than having all your fingers.  :745:

On a bike that's got so many switches for screen, radio etc, I wouldn't even consider those to be an option.
