What is the length the screen and how tall are you for the large screen based on the Calsci website your height determines what size screen you should order. What are the benefits compared with the stock screen ?

I have a Cal Sci large wide screen (my third counting the two previous BMW's), and in the low position it may be about 2" taller than the factory screen, but there is less back pressure and a little better protection on the sides, so depending on the climate you ride in it can be good or bad.  I have no issues at all with the large/wide Cal Sci and I'm 5'7", and can still see over it when it's lowered.

You know I was looking at the CalSci windshields to up grade but they're made from acrylic and not poly.  Too easy to shatter.  Otherwise a fine windshield.

We use a special high cost acrylic called Impact Modified Acrylic. This form of acrylic is DOT approved for windshields. We use only DOT certified impact resistant plastics to make Calsci windshields. Our windshields will not shatter if hit by a rock. We test our windshields by shooting them with a .22 caliber rifle and verifying that the windshield maintains its basic integrity without shedding small pieces that could impact your face or eyes. No windshield can protect you against everything, but we do our best to make certain that our windshields protect you against the small rocks frequently thrown up by other vehicle's tires.

I read this on their website and agree it's a very good windshield but it is not as tough as the polycarbonate which is almost unbreakable.  I just don't want to take any chances.  I'm going with a VStream.  Good luck on selling your windshield.  CalSci makes good stuff!

I think it would be better to have a price posted. Then people will either pay that price or you have a place to start negotiating.
